9X FASHION TRENDS FOR SPRING/SUMMER 2022
While comfort and homewear played the main role last year, in the spring of 2022 we see more optimism, with cheerful colours, eclectic prints, flowing fabrics, quirky details and more beautiful things. We have already selected 9 trends:
1. THE RETURN OF THE TUNIC
The tunic, a combination of a dress and a blouse, is back in 2022. At the fashion weeks we saw a lot of pants with flowy examples : just think of airy fabrics that were combined with a belt to highlight your waist. . Versatility trumps!
2. OPTIMISTIC YELLOW
Yellow is a remarkably cheerful color that will color the streets especially in the spring of 2022. Several designers chose the color as an accent or even as a full outfit in their collections, and while a buttery pastel yellow took the upper hand, sometimes it could also be a bit brighter with a pop of yellow.
3. THE BUTTERFLY PRINT
At the fashion weeks of spring and summer 2022, a lot of butterfly prints appeared in various collections, as a hopeful sign of a new beginning. From tops to pants and dresses in flowing chiffon, the butterfly print will be used in a hundred and one ways in the coming months.
